Laura and Marco had been living in London for many years, where they met and fell in love. For their wedding they chose to return to Italy, to unite their families and let their friends discover Tuscany. They told us that after visiting Villa Orlando, they had no doubts over where they would celebrate their marriage. No other place could have been more suitable for them!
Villa Orlando overlooks the banks of Lake Massaciuccoli in Torre del Lago Puccini and it is one of the most romantic and charming places we have ever seen, full of inspiration for a wedding photographer. The Villa is a magical timeless place, with the lake that recalls Puccini and the heroes of his Operas.
We do not make rankings or show preferences but even for us, this day was special, rich in emotions and intensity. To be honest, we were moved several times by the expressions of these loving spouses, the sincere emotion of their friends and the union of this family.
Marco and his family got ready in a B&B near the lake, Laura stayed with her sister and closest friends above the Villa Orlando stables. The civil marriage was celebrated in Giardino by the lake, amongst millions of smiles and tears of joy. Valerio took care of the aperitif and lunch that is rightly hyped by those who choose this location.
The synergy between the staff and the villa’s owners made everything always perfect. Laura then organised a surprise for Marco, who is a great fan of magic and magic tricks. Hidden among the guests, there was a magician who surprised him with tricks and games that left everyone speechless! Regarding music, Laura and Marco are really on their game! They have very special and sophisticated tastes, thus they were at ease with Tommaso Tanzini, a DJ but also songwriter and musician from Pisa. Dances, vinyl records and the light of the sunset made us feel like we were in a London club!
