Anthony and Pauline arrive from France. Anthony’s parents have Italian origins and have always longed to return to find their roots. This is why they chose the suggestive hills of Siena. Val d’Orcia is a characteristic territory with its rows of cypresses and the ochre-coloured earth, which are now the commonplace stereotypes associated with Tuscany. Anthony and Pauline love art, history and good wine, and in Pienza, they found everything they were looking for. The weekend with their friends was organised in Palazzo Massaini, a small village with several buildings, all made of red bricks. Pauline’s family took care of the floral decorations and with great friendliness, they joined the friends for the preparations.
The religious ceremony was performed in the marvellous Church of San Biagio in Montepulciano, a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture. After the ceremony, the guests and newlyweds returned to Palazzo Massini for an aperitif and a typical Italian lunch organised by Albatros catering, which following an infinite number of courses, speeches and toasts lasted well into the evening.
At sunset Pauline, Anthony and their guests lit Chinese lanterns and sent them off into the sky over the evocative panorama of the Sienese hills. Joy and fun were the protagonists of this day. Unforgettable jokes and the enthusiasm of the bridesmaids dressed in red and the hip-hop fans.
